This section contains alphabetical lists of the Alt- and Ctrl- short cut keys. (Note the Alt- short cuts do not apply to to the Apple OS X version of mdb.)

• Ctrl-A --- clear inaccessible from main menu File
• Ctrl-C --- copy from main menu Edit
• Ctrl-D --- deselect all from main menu Edit
• Ctrl-I --- import playlist from main menu File
• Ctrl-N --- new file to list from main menu File
• Ctrl-P --- preferences from main menu Edit
• Ctrl-R --- set root directory for playlist from main menu File
• Ctrl-S --- scan for media files from main menu File
• Ctrl-V --- paste/move from main menu Edit
• F1 --- Help contents from main menu Help

• Alt-# --- comment column search check box
• Alt-% --- file format column search check box
• Alt-* --- encoder column search check box
• Alt-- --- layer column search check box
• Alt-/ --- file column search check box
• Alt-< --- << tracks button : Play previous track.
• Alt-= --- A=a check box : Ignore case in search and sort.
• Alt-> --- >> tracks button : Play next track.
• Alt-@ --- location column search check box
• Alt-[ --- [< tracks button : Play first track of previous album.
• Alt-] --- >] tracks button : Play first track of next album.
